More affordable than a box spring, the bed frame additionally provides storage space with 13 inches of space under the bed. The bed frame requires adult home assembly; users may need a mallet, a socket wrench, a power screwdriver, and other tools for the assembly process. A member of the Sustainable Furnishings Council, Handy Living designed the bed frame with entirely recyclable parts and ships the bed frame parts in one box to eliminate excess packaging.
